UPDATE: Have been using Earthcam for years, even before the app. Im now very happy to say that my full paid version that I have on my iPad is now transferable to my phone! I was never going to pay for another full version so its great that I finally have all of the cams on noth devices (and my soon to have new phone). Thank you! Can now raise it to 5 stars!
Part of original review: I am really enjoying it. True, not all cams are live. It is my understanding that its based on the operator of the individual cam to make that decision. If you were to go on the Earthcam website, most would be the same way. This is not an Earthcam issue, its based on the owner of the cam itself. There is one cam that I know is different, Id love to have it live on the app as its live on the website...the Michigan snowman cam. The app has screen captures whereas the website has the live feed. Thanks again!
I can use this app to watch live cameras from around the world no matter where I am, its just awesome! Love that now you can post hall of fame photos right from the app!!!
I can truly take all my favorite cameras with me on the go. And post to the hall of fame too. Cant tell you how many times Ive seen a camera and said to my gf, lets go there.
Great app but there is too much drama by users in the Hall of Fame. I love all the cams though but try to stay off the Hall of Fame. Wish we could block certain users like we can block people on Facebook so we can avoid the drama and enjoy all of Earthcams features without getting caught up in drama.
This app is definitely a pleasant surprise particularly once you transfer to a large HDTV. Its your sitting right there in Dublin having a beer! Other than that from time to time, some of the locations are not streaming live I have nothing but good things to say about Earthcam! There is something fun about seeing live whats happening somewhere out there!
Some bad moments
Not as advertised. Did not have the webcam I was looking for, even though a link to the app was provided.
I Downloaded To View My Area Live But there was not a cam there.I was expecting a camera there but there wasnt.there should add a camera in my area
I purchased all of the webcams for $4.99. Only 3-4 weeks after purchasing them I can no longer access them! Its like I spent $5 for nothing. Total disappointment.

Poor video quality, poor cities, no preview before buying.
Just installed the app, iPhone 5s iOS 8.1.2, nothing happens when I click "View package" on the map.
Cant view the cams in Safari on iOS. Must download app.
Download app and cant view most cams without paying to view them.
The cams are free to view on a computer, why do we have to pay here?
